How to define establish hierarchy category

In this tutorial, you will learn how to define establish hierarchy category in SAP Financial supply chain management module

• Transaction code: SPRO
• SAP IMG Path: Financial Supply Chain Management > Treasury and Risk Management > Basic functions > SAP Business partner for financial services  > General settings > Business partner group hierarchy > Establish hierarchy category.

Configuration steps to define establish hierarchy category in SAP

Step 1: Enter transaction code “SPRO” in the SAP command field as shown below.

Step 2: Click on the option “SAP Reference IMG”

Step 3: On display IMG screen, follow the navigation menu path as Financial Supply Chain Management – Treasury and Risk Management – Basic functions – SAP Business partner for financial services  – General settings – Business partner group hierarchy and click on the IMG activity “establish hierarchy category”.

Step 4: On change view “Maintenance view for Hierarchy categories overview screen,

Step 5: On new entries hierarchy categories screen, enter the following details.

• Hierarchy Category: Enter the key that defines as hierarchy category in SAP FSCM.
• Usage: Enter the usage of hierarchy category.

After entering all the required details for establish hierarchy category in SAP, choose save icon to save the configured details in SAP FSCM.

Successfully we have defined hierarchy categories in SAP FSCM.
