How to Define Contact Person Functions in SAP FSCM

Open the SAP Reference IMG in Transaction SPRO

Step 1: From the SAP Easy Access screen, enter transaction code SPRO in the command field and press Enter.

Step 4: On the Change View: Positions of Contact Person: Overview screen, choose New Entries to create a function.

  • Fct: Enter a unique key for the contact person function. Use the naming convention defined for your SAP system.
  • Description: Enter a clear description that identifies the contact person’s role.

Save the Defined Function and Transport the Configuration

Step 6: Review the function key and description, and then choose the Save icon. If SAP requests a customizing request, assign the change to an appropriate transport request according to your organization’s transport procedure.

The new function is now available for use where contact person functions are assigned in the relevant business partner relationship configuration or master data process.
